About Me: David Stikeleather (Click to Contact)
I have been the Pastor of Christ United since May of 2018. I retired from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 with a career in Law Enforcement that began in 1988. 2020 marks my 25th year in the ministry. I have pastored two full time churches, and two bi-vocational churches, and have also served as interim pastor in two churches.
My Testimony:
I grew up in a Christian home, and accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of seven while attending Tabernacle Baptist Church in New Bern NC. I surrendered to God’s call to preach in 1993 while attending Startown Baptist Church in Newton NC. I attended Fruitland Baptist Bible College from 1994-1996. Since 1995, I have balanced the life of both Law Enforcement and the ministry.
